Computer Tomography, CT for short, is a method, which makes thin cross sections of the body using a rotating, finely bundled x-ray

A powerful computer system makes it possible to construct all body regions using measurement data obtained from detailed horizontal tomography.

CT bone 3D CT Abdomen Computer Tomography focuses on the investigation of diseases of the internal organs (e.g. lungs, liver, kidneys, spleen, pancreas), and depending on the issue also of the spine, spinal cord, head, bones and joints.

CT Thorax Depending on the issue the patient may be given a contrast agent (dye) in order to stain the stomach/intestine or a contrast agent injected into the vein to highlight the vessels.
The contrast agent used in the bowel is drunk in sips 1 to 3 hours before the investigation.

CT Trier CT Saarburg Our practice has a newer generation computer tomography system, which uses the latest technology to take several cross sections (multislice technique). Therefore an even more detailed resolution and a more accurate diagnosis is possible.

If this is for a check-up, previous images should be available for comparison.
